URL Forwarding URL forwarding is a tool which allows you to forward your domain name to an existing website. For example, you might forward yourdomain.com to http://www.myfreehost.com/myname. In this case, visitors who enter "www.yourdomain.com" into their browser will be automatically forwarded to your existing website at http://www.myfreehost.com/myname. In our example, we have the domain name www.forwarded-url.com. We have this domain forwarded to our tools demonstration site, http://toolsdemo.buydomains.com. When you enter in http://www.forwarded-url.com into the location or address bar of your browser or click on the link, your browser is automatically sent to http://toolsdemo.buydomains.com. Notice how the name in the location or address bar of your browser now says http://toolsdemo.buydomains.com instead of the one that was typed in or clicked on. URL forwarding is compatible with all compliant browsers, and is a value added service which is included free with all domains registered through BuyDomains. BuyDomains does not insert any pop-up or banner ads whatsoever with this service. To setup URL forwarding on your domain name, simply login to your BuyDomains control panel, then choose the "URL Forwarding" link.
